Why "Everywhere?"

Years ago, a business and marketing consultant Gary hired gave him some sage advice: "Pay attention to what makes your phone ring. Then develop your marketing around what's working."

 

So Gary and his staff made it a point to ask new clients what prompted them to call. Some had specific answers, “I saw your For Sale sign, "I went to your website," or "A friend recommended you." But most just said they'd been seeing his name all over for a long time.

 

"How can we develop a marketing program based on that?" Those non-specific answers stumped the consultant for months. Finally, he said, "I've got it. If they see your name everywhere, then you're the agent they see EVERYWHERE!"

 

And that's how it started.
